Inter war barracks picture

I bought this picture recently, lots of uniforms but all the bikes look civilian, any thoughts as to where and when?

It has an early 1930s look to me...The registrations don't help much. I can see Derbyshire, Lancashire, London and Middlesex...

Catterick maybe ? They seem to have retained a hutted camp there, longer than most.

Is that camouflage paint on the nearer huts, did they do that in WW1?

The white huts seem to have a very similar mark on the front portion...It looks like a shadow but it's hard to see how that would be the case looking at the shape of the shadow and the form of the roofline..They don't appear to match...Ian

Does anyone recognize any off the bikes ?
The one with the sidecar ?
And there is one BSA.
