In a previous post I mentioned a vent on the inner chaincase.
I was referring to the inverted triangular indentation between the engine sprocket opening & the footpeg rod. Mine has a small opening at the top which made me think it was a vent, but it isnt, is it. I think mine just has a small manufacturing fault. So what is it for? And the lip welded to the other side behind it? Can someone enlighten me?
