WM20 -Removing clutch operating arm?

Hi all,

I've all but dismantled my gearbox casings, to get them vapour blasted. However, I'm foxed by the steel pin that holds the clutch operating arm. I can't see a screw slot. Are these pins threaded, or driven in / out? I'm reluctant to reach for my Birmingham screwdriver...

Regards,

Craig

It's an interference fit pin. Get the boss hot with a blow lamp or hot air gun and tap it out with a skinny drift. Ron

Try to support the boss halves with a hose clamp and shims between the lever and the boss if necessary, they have a nasty habit of breaking off if the pin is stuck and hit too hard.

Thank you both; that's a great help. Heat and hammers it is!
