Has anybody had trouble with slipping clutch on a flying flea? New springs have been fitted and corks are 5/16" thick. How thick should they be? Please help, cannot even kick start motor without clutch slipping.

Sounds like something else is keeping it from moving fully home.
Did you compare the size/length/diameter of the parts that you renewed against those that came out?

The only thing replaced was the springs and they are slightly longer. As I said before how thick should the corks be?
