Took these photos about 15 years ago at Founders Day Rally,before it was moved to the front of Stanford Hall due to health and safety reasons,they were imported bikes and parts from I think Egypt.
If only you could go back in time with a wad of money. Those seat springs on the Triumph are something else, can you imagine going round twisty corners with a seat like that:grimacing: Banbury jumbles used to be good ones as well when they had them at the school at Drayton, and before down the road at the old factory. I think is was a car parts factory, good times and good jumbling.
Nice bikes, for restoration.
I remember I went to Netley Marsh in september 1994. One of the first bikes I saw was a 1938 BSA G14, complete and unrestored.
Priced at 4.750 ! The bike still appears in my dreams every now and then...
