Whilst the rear mudguard seems a poor fit I note the tail light mounted on top of the number plate which would have Ron Pier out hunting for the machine.

These Ariels had their own type of frame (not W/NG) and a lightweight Burman box.
Post war these frames where used in the first VCH scrambler models.
