I got these panniers sometime back and it is nothing like what I see on the forum.
Just wanted to clarify if Panniers like these were made or is it just a local replica?
Pratap I've got lots of original photos of these "Slider" frames fitted to Matchless G3L's. So I swapped the wing nut frames on my G3L with the Slider frames that Horror had on his Norton.....Everyone happy:relaxed: Ron
One of the wartime WB30 pictures doesn't appear to have the wing nuts so I have a pair of this type of frame put aside for my WB30 project, both the G3L and WB30 are technically lightweights, I wonder if these frames are lighter?
This experimental B30 that has a Velo? engine fitted with an Aspin sleeve valve top end appears to have the bag carriers with wing nuts, though it's not a good picture...Ian
P.S....It's also got the rarely seen extended gear change indicator disc on the gearbox...I had one on one of my gearboxes but have only seen it fitted to this B30...Ian
