Royal Enfield WD/CO And WD/D Front Forks

Hi All.

Can anyone tell me if R.E WD/D front forks are compatible with R.E WD/CO frames?

Not really Steve. The CO forks are heavier and about 1" longer and the make up is different with smaller links and spindles on the 'D'.
I haven't checked but it might be possible to swap them about if the steering stem is the same size.....But why? Ron

A WD/D was involved in a collision over here a while back and I believe that the owner was looking for new forks. Might they be for sale ?

Wake up Ron!! I just remembered that of course the forks can be swapped! I used C/CO forks on my experimental WD/DC replica which was essentially a modified WD/D frame. Ron
