I thought the motorcycle might be a Model 19R but now not so sure - the forks do not appear to be Norton Roadholder but instead may be Matchless - headlamp brackets - no steering damper but instead what appears to be a Matchless domed nut.
Of course I could be entirely wrong but thought I would mention it.
It may have been 1946 Model 18 with girder forks, that someone modernised to tele forks, or it had a front end smash and they fitted what they got hold of?
