Hi,

Finishing off the M20 gearbox rebuild and wondering how tight the gear change pawl nuts need to be on the selector mechanism. I know there are extra lock nuts but my mechanism selects gears better when they are slightly loose.
Any input would be appreciated

It's best if the pawl arms move easily so set them to achieve that...As long as the nuts are locked up it won't be a problem...Ian
