i need a new front drive sprocket, Drags is out of stock but i noticed they said it had no scroll on it, so i looked at my old knackered one and it has a scroll to try to keep the oil in (ha) are these still available with scroll?
Kevin you must mean Gearbox sprocket 24-4280 (18T) not front drive sprocket. Most on ebay will be from India but I see Peters has them. http://www.petersclassicbikeparts.nl/contents/en-us/d71_01.html but no scroll. You are expected to fit a sealed bearing these days....which is the way to go really. I can't image the scroll would do a lot really? Especially when the bike is parked which is when the puddle appears on your fresh block paving! :rage: Ron
thanks Ron, yes what i meant was the front sprocket for the drive chain lol
they have 2 18t listed, one with the part number you listed states for oil seal box, i assume i need the other one for non oil seal box (no part number beside it)
i have a new sealed bearing installed with the inner seal removed
60 Euro with shipping to Canada, am i correct in assuming this is the one required?? from Peters classic bike parts
