Re: Gold star scramble cams

You can get quality Gold Star scrambles cams direct from the manufacturer...David Newman Engineering...Late post war Goldies used a pair of 65-2446 cams for scrambles.. 65-2448 and 65-2450 were listed as touring cams in later models and as racing cams for B31/33s and they are considerably 'milder'...

Depending on the mods you have done the highest lift possible would be beneficial on the inlet side, so a DBD 34 Clubmans inlet (65-2442) with a 65-2446 exhaust... You'll need to fit alternative valve springs or add inner valve springs for this or any uprated cam and of course check for coil bound springs/clearances in the head etc......Ian

Will keep ya posted.
