WM20 weight distribution

Hello. My next daft question. Does anyone know the weight distribution of their WM20. What is the weight at the front wheel and what is the weight at the rear wheel without a rider. Reason being I`m trying to work out where to bolt a front wheel chock on my twin axle motorcycle trailer. Trying to balance the trailer so it rides on the twin axles and gives me an acceptable nose weight on the towbar.

Cheers Colin

Re: WM20 weight distribution

Any motorcycle I've seen that has a yellow 'center' line painted on it (for stropping and loading on ships and gliders) Has the line pretty well in the center of the chain case......Like this NOS Norton case. I think that would be near enough for your purpose! Ron

Re: WM20 weight distribution

Turns out weight at the front wheel is 85Kg and the rear is 115 Kg.

Re: WM20 weight distribution

Tie a rope around the front & around the back wheels
Tie the other ends to a stout beam
Tie a rope around the beam & raise it off the ground
Slide this rope till the beam sits horizontal.
That is the balance point.
A lot easier to do that it sounds.
