Old wheel

Hi All
Anyone able to identify what this belongs to ? It came out of a barn....
Doubt its from anything military, but would be nice to know what it came from rather than just scrap it..
Thanks, Rich.

Re: Old wheel

Hi Richard, Could be Triumph....as the Triumph parts-numbers seems to start with a W...? BR Michiel

Re: Old wheel

Obviously a tele fork wheel. If the number is W958?? then the superseded Triumph number would be 37-0958. Ron

Re: Old wheel

Thanks all. Ive had a search and its likely to be a Tiger Cub wheel.

Re: Old wheel

As far as I can remember (Tiger Cub was my first bike) they had 16" wheels as standard, although the trials version and the 'Mountain Cub' had bigger wheels? Ron

Re: Old wheel

The hub reference w958 keeps throwing up a 'tiger cub' result when pumped into the search engines. Maybe the hub itself has somw commonality over different models ?

Re: Old wheel

Shame it's not Brough Superior or Manx Norton....You'd be able to sell it and buy another bike...It rarely seems to work like that though!..Ian
