Does anyone know what M.v.O. means on these leather breeches? German? Ron

It means Ministerie van Oorlog (ministry of War) in Dutch. This stamp is seen in old Dutch army stock immediately post war, Later on the name was changed to Ministry of Defence like in the UK.
