1938 mudguard tailpiece

Hello all,

Can anyone tell me if the mudguard tailpiece on a 1938 M20 or M21 should be hinged or secured by bolts? I saw a hinged one on another restored 1938, but wasn't sure if it was correct or not.

Hi Steve. '38 M20 should have bolted on tailpiece. All the 1937/38 year M-s had the same rear mudguard. Here is one from '38 M22.
