Looking at the new web site photo I noticed that most of the motorcycles are EL, LJ and RU registration districts. These are all Bournemouth Hampshire (as it was then, now Dorset) numbers also they would seem to be Home Guard riders. After the war some members of the 7th battalion formed the Ex Home Guard Tigers Motorcycle Club, always known as the XHG Tigers a club still going today running off road trails etc in the East Dorset/West Hants area. The photo appears to taken on an open parade area with pine trees in the background which are typical of the Bournemouth area.
