Most recent WM20 restoration in Estonia

Hello everybody!
It's also first and so far only correct restoration of WM20 in our country. I'm not the owner and not the restorer either, but I shared all the information I gathered from this forum during last 10+ years.
Only few minor details are still in progress.
So thank you all and Happy New Year!

Here it comes.

Wow! great restoration, this colour looks good in gloss.

Nice background also!!

Re: Most recent WM20 restoration in Estonia

As you noticed at once, toolbox knob has to go. Correct one that Jan made is still waiting for dull chrome. And then footrest and field stand and...:slightly_smiling_face:
I remember there was a website called "From Birmingham to Berlin" or something where they converted later footrests to the early bolt and rubber ones. Can't find it anymore.
Is somebody replicating or have drawings for short field stand?

Backround building on last photo is Tallinn sea fortress built in 1829-1840. It served as central jail 1919-2005.

Nice restoration.
Hope you find the parts you still need to complete it correctly.

Re: Most recent WM20 restoration in Estonia

Kalle, converting the postwar footrests is very easy, weld up the rounded ends a bit so you can grind/file a nice flat surface, then bore and tap a hole 5/16" x 26. The big washers are approx 50 mm in diameter, I cut them roughly out of 3 mm sheet and turn them down on the lathe. Jeff Hunter has the correct open-end rubbers.
