My tail lamp LED upgrade

My BSA WM20. As we know, in those days a small 6volt bulb was deemed sufficient for driving at night and you signaled braking by lowering your left hand and waving it. I decided that riding that way today, while historically correct, would be unsafe. So I wanted to give a modern LED upgrade but not drastically change the outward appearance.

I purchased a 6v red LED with two bottom contacts- one bright, the other super bright. The problem was the fit. It was about .4" too long and .06" too wide in diameter.

A. This is the housing and lens that contains the light
B. The LED as it arrived
C. The modified lamp and the discarded section

After some dremel work, soldering and wiring it fits and lights up. Next to attach the brake switch.
