I love the new picture 8th army perhaps, like to know if anyone has more info what the number 37 on the tank signifies etc Mike.

There are a lot of gaps in the knowledge relating to Middle East markings - they frequently didn't follow War Office instructions..'37' doesn't appear in any listing that I can find (Divisions commenced at '40' after the post-Dunkirk revisions)...'37' was often used at Corps level by Royal Engineer units - but this marking has no white 'Corps' bar...N.Z., Australian and South African may also have deviated.

I don't recall ever seeing the air filter setup that is pictured. Can someone bring me up to speed on this?
