I came across this and wondered if anyone else had experience with it or something like it? The rear stand is wonderfully stable but it's a pain when just making a short stop. The fact that it's not permanent is also appealing.
I fitted something similar to my BSA/Indian special. Even at a gentle angle, the clamp wouldn't hold tight to the frame however tight I did the bolts. The bike actually fell over at one rally. So I MIG welded the back clamp to the frame, but still only trust it for minor halts, preferring the rear stand for proper parking. I also welded a 'heel' hook to the foot. Ron
They are Universal
As in fits nothing properly and fails on everything.
If you need a side stand do a search there was a drawing of the plate used for the short side stand some time back.
basically it is an extended brake pedal plate
Simple thing to fabricate and then get hardened.
I printed it out and gave it to a friend along with a B40 GA side stand and he tells me it works a treat.
