Afternoon all,
I replaced the liner in my cylinder yesterday, the existing one had fractured around the top at some point in the past (poor fitting technique I suspect) and it was perilously close to the top ring.
I have a new old stock standard A&E piston, does anyone have recommendations for machine shops that can rebore in the North Manchester/ Lancashire area?
I was hoping that the liner came at size (like it says in the service book) which I could have eased out with my Delapena machine, no such luck, it needs 0.060” coming out ☹️
