So I have decided to build my box myself, all nos parts bar amazingly the main shaft.
My issue atm is I have two 25 tooth gears, one with oil holes, one without. So which goes on the mainshaft please, I can’t find a definitive answer?!
The undrilled gear goes on the lay shaft...You will see the lay shaft has lubrication drillings in it but the main shaft does not, so the main shaft gear bush gets its lubrication via the gear/bush drillings...Ian
