From the plate on my mag dyno and having read some posts on here, I’m guessing it’s not the one that came with the bike originally (1947 M20)

It reads : M0114 AC20 243 46011B

Can anyone help with any info please?

I am not an expert on these but 243 probably will be 2nd month of 1943. Some one else may confirm for you.

Yes it's probably an MO1/4 from 1943. Like this.



It's probable by 1947 it would have had the modified body with the step under the dynamo.

Just checked a photo I have and it doesn't have the step, so it looks as though its the 1943 version.

I've got a few things running through my mind now, green paint (with yellow under it) all over the crankcases and a 1943 mag dyno. Although the engine number matches the original number for the bike which is 1947.
