I take it that this is not off an M20 gearbox ? Is it from an earlier 20's / 30's box ?? Is it worth anything ?

Hi Richard, The first fourspeed gearbox came in 1932 and had these nice aluminium plates fitted, in '37 it was replaced by the plain steel plate with B.S.A. stamped in like we know from the WD's.

There is also a threespeed version of these plates. Don't scrap :grinning:

There are at least 4 other versions of the 3 speed covers, starting from 1914.
