Hi all, just fitted the fork spring. An unused item 10" in length. My previous x2 were not even 9". Had to remove the top links to get it in and it touched the lower bearing housing. Having got it together (no real issues), I found a bend in the spring as it sat fully extended. I put the front wheel back in and sat on it. There is no engine or box therein. The spring straightened off the frame but bowed slightly forward. All is in line, new bushes etc. Obviously more weight on the machine. that is all of its components, will make a considerable difference, and a lot simpler than bouncing around on her. I wandered about any thoughts on this. Thank you Dave. I took some pics but it won't let me load them!
