What is the unusual number (93YB00) on the bike in the forum photo please.? Dave.J.

Its the post war British Military Registration number, a system still in use today. Old vehicles still in use started at the "Z" end, new vehicles at the "A" end of the alphabet. Rob

93 YB 00 is mentioned in the post war keycards, chassis or perhaps engine number is recorded as 34860 and it had already had a rebuild serial issued C1445372 prior to this registration number, and it appear it was sold off on 10 4 58. Rob
