BSA M20 Engine Number

Anyone familiar with this number? It reads B12MS5.

This is a "rebuild code", but I bet there is another number behind the "5"... The B code is a T.T.3 workshop number, and the number behind the MS abbreviation (Ministry of Supply) is the month and year: e.g. 24 = February 1944 etc.
