Years ago I remember seeing a photograph of several BSA AA outfits captioned as being in France helping British motorists home prior to the Germans arriving in 1940, it may have been in an "old bike mart" but I can't remember, can anyone help please?
when i was in the AA in the 1990s they were still sending AA patrols out to France to cover English motorist on holiday maybe if you contact the AA museum i think it is in Basinstoke they may have some photos they did have a magazine that the sent members
