early war paint

HI,
Does anyone know if the early Matchless G3WO's panel and otherwise would have been painted in earth brown?

Shouldn't think so Alistair! Khaki Green would have been the service colour for 39/40/41. Ron

Yes, Khaki green No.3 I did one of mine brown, but that was many years ago, still have to re-do it one of these days.
