Do we see some kind of a shroud around the speedometer?

I hadn't noticed it to be honest but it does indeed look like it.

Well it's even more strange as that is nowhere near the right place for a W/NG speedo........It's not his Starbucks cup holder is it? Ron

It looks like it's been added to the steering damper knob.

It also has the rubber mounted handlebars. The speedo cable appears to be visible and heading in the right direction. The speedo would be out of shot perhaps behind the headlamp. I wonder if what can be seen above the steering damper knob is in fact the top of his gauntlet as you can see he is not wearing them and the right hand gauntlet is visible on top of the tank. Interesting pillion seat not the one often seen on W/NGs and it looks as though the tyre inflator is in position on top of the upper chainguard.

Ha Ha, you're right Keith. It's his gauntlet! Odd clutch side controls also....for a W/NG! Tyre pump is correct (as with Triumph also)....And awkward to get at! Ron

that is defanatly something round a damper knob, you can se a screw or rivet holding it in place. he's holding the clove with his right hand as like the left.
