However the batteries in the sat nav might last longer than a riding session (tom tom is 8hrs) so maybe just don't connect it to the bike battery at all and recharge during rests.
And in case anybody is poo hooing sta navs, how else will you know your lat-long when phoning the recovery people? (AMHIK):wink:
