I would like to find out what unit insignia my WM20 should have. Henk has very kindly supplied me with the contract number when I bought the project. So, The next stage is to find out where it may have ended up. It is a 1940 contract number which I would imagine was one of the large ‘post Dunkirk’ orders given to BSA? The project is still in pieces and there is nothing visible on the front mudguard or tank unfortunately....... any suggestions welcome... Thankyou!
Gary, unless you find some original markings, which itself is extremely rare. I think It will be impossible to know what unit(s) it served with during the war. Most guys pick a unit that they are interested in or as a tribute to a relative. Or simply just add the census number to your tank, which in reality is how lots of them were anyway. Ron
