Hi what do you use to seal the sump plate to stop from leaking and also i have the plate that has a magnetic bolt would i still need to use the mesh.

I use Hondabond sealant on all joints that can potentially leak oil, or teflon tape on threaded joints. Sometimes I use Hondabond instead of a gasket. Hondabond is available at Honda dealers, or online, like ebay.com. Be sure to degrease parts with acetone or similar solvent before using Hondabond to ensure a leak proof seal.
When to comes to preventing debris from getting into critical internal parts, I use both a magnetic plug and debris screen. Cheap insurance.
