Re colour military canvas ridge tent.

Just brought a 4 man canvas ridge tent last used by South African army but its beige, i want to change it to brown/khaki so i can use when i take the bikes to military shows. i have read somewhere that you can use water based fence paint or a dye...any thoughts.

Go to your nearest Hobbycraft store and buy screen printing ink.This water based ink is colour mixable and when dry waterproof.I have used it to refresh my pannier bags.Also Google Art2Silk the light brown water based ink may do. You may need to also buy white and black for colour mixing.

bloddy hell i would need gallons of the stuff the tent is 15ftx9ftx8ft high:laughing:

Hi

I have applied fence paint to my Land rover canvas ragtop in the past and it has worked great.

Only the cheap B and Q stuff and then sealed it with weather protection.
