I have a leak between the engine and the magdyno.

Is there a gasket between the engine and the magdyno ?
II saw the fixing off the magdyno was unscrewed,

There is a rubber seal but it can be replaced with a modern seal.

If your seal is loose, I do a copy of the REME repair plate that the army used to repair the loose seal

It looks like the REME repair plate could be fitted with the engine in the frame. Is that so?

Regarding the REME repair plate to rectify a flogged out housing where does one obtain one and cost. Also I assume the crankcase would have to be set up in a jig of some sort and the seal area centralised before enlarging the hole to take the repair plate. Although if this was a field repair mod during conflict times I guess it was done by hand and sight to centralise it.
