Planning ahead for final paint details and it occurs to me that “fresh” white paint will be a bit ugly as I am aiming for that lived a life look.
So what have people used, where have you got it from and any top tips can you advise please would be verry appreciated.

Do you mean the WD Serial / Census number ?

Generally painted using a matt white signwriter's enamel which was a fair bit less bright than modern whites.

My preference is for Humbrol matt white modelling enamel with just a brush tip of matt yellow and matt grey in it.
