Hi Just took delivery of tank decals for my 1940 M20 deluxe Somehow I think the oval shaped decals are not right They are a kind of gold background colour Others I have seen tend to be yellow Which is correct ? Br Job

Hi John, you only need one on the early deluxe, just below the fuelcap: BR Michiel

Thanks all Bike ran for the first time in over 50 years yesterday. Need to sort out saddle and leaking petrol taps plus the inevitable adjustments and we should be on the road thanks to a lot of help from you lot!! Regards John
Ian / ron Thank you for this info I ordered the wrong colours Br Job
Hi Michiel Thank you for this - I have also found this photo here tonight This would explain that almost every early WM20 I have seen has been without decals on the side Do you have any idea when they introduced twin side mounted decals Another photo I have shows the decal in front of the filler cap Many thanks Job
The lowest serial number that I can find with side-affixed badges is C4170967 from contract C6126 (Commencing WM20 18001 and delivered from May 1940).
