W/NG Toolbox

Some time ago I found a norton toolbox, since it is similar to the one installed in the wng, but I should modify it.

What opinion do you have of the Indian reproductions?

Luis the Triumph box has those two 'ears' on the sides. It would be a shame to cut them off. The two screws that hold the lid might be a pre-war thing. The W/NG box is held by two special brackets on the forward edge and a support bracket on the rear edge.

You take your chance with tinware from India. Some is acceptable but lots are disgusting! :white_frowning_face:

WNG and Triumph Toolbox are the same size?
I feel sorry for modifying that toolbox ...

At first glance what I do not like about the Indian copies is their hinge, they respect the length, but in the end they have a narrow cut.
