Despite making many enquiries- I still have not cracked the codes found on these motorcycles & other military vehicles in ireland at the time There doesn’t appear to be any records known which indicate their meaning/unit/or command They appear to commence in about 1941/42 I’ll get there some day with luck Jo’b
The 'V' would be for 'Velocette' wouldn't it ? Doesn't look like a 'works' one though :grinning:
It has some sporting notions about it though Rik 😀😀
