I have 2 oil tank caps. The one in the back is, what I think, the right one for a WM20. But does some one know what the other one is, is it a modified wing-nut or was it fit on a other type motorcycle?

I have the one to the rear on my 1942 M20. The other I have no knowledge of

Caps were a bought in item so possible stock from a different supplier than what BSA used.

Following this discussion I've had a look at my own filler caps, and I seem to have one of each; one on the petrol tank and one on the oil tank. Could it be that the ones for the oil filler were less 'heavy duty' than for the petrol tank?
