WM20 gearbox bearings

Hi
Could anyone tell me the modern part numbers for the 24-4217 bearing and the 24-4065 bearing.

I've put the reference numbers taken from the existing bearings .......LS8/ L88 ? and 6207A but can't seem to cross ref them , as for the bush's I'm having to get them made as no one seems to keep a range on stock.

Thanks

Dave

Re: WM20 gearbox bearings

The little bearing is a LJ3/4
The big one is a modern 6207 rs2.
Rs2 means it is a 2 seal bearing.you can remove 1 seal and plce the bearing with the seal at the outside.so the leaking as a normal bearing is gone.

Re: WM20 gearbox bearings

Have you tried Jacob de Groot BSA in the Netherlands ?
He might have the two layshaft bushes.

Re: WM20 gearbox bearings

Thanks Michael for the heads up on that one :+1: , that would be brilliant if he does happen to have them , I'll get onto it straight away

Cheers

Re: WM20 gearbox bearings

Whether part 24-4225 (oil retaining washer) is also used when using a oil seal bearing.
Thanks

Re: WM20 gearbox bearings

The oil retaining washers are very important as they also act as spacers.
You could replace them with spacers if you wished if you are using sealed bearings,
but as they are so easy to get it's not worth the effort.
