M21 hub offsets

I rather stupidly forgot to measure up the offsets before cutting out the hubs from the wheels of my '56 rigid and now can't find the right offsets for rebuilding. It has the 8" half-width front hub and riveted rear with taper rollers - draganfly refer as type 5 and 10.

Can anyone provide the correct figures please?

Many thanks,
Bernie

Re: M21 hub offsets

I would rebuild the wheels so, that the centre of both the rims are exactly in line with the centre of the top frame tube (the one going from the top yoke to the sadle).
I did so and can drive my M20 hands free.

Re: M21 hub offsets

I did it exactly as Mike did but I did check the frame for alignment first. The frame did need quite a bit of work to get it straight again.

Re: M21 hub offsets

Thanks Mike and Henk I'll do that.

The frame has a sidecar lug fitted so I won't be surprised if it's out of line somewhat.

Cheers,

Re: M21 hub offsets

It's really quite simple to do, Bernie.
And it also means your wheels are both in line with each other.
