Groan...

Learnt another valuable lesson yesterday ! Riding my M20, all was well and then i realised my right leg was cold and soaked in petrol.

I parked up and went off to search for the missing float chamber cap and just as i found it it was run over by a fiesta !!

Another thing to check in my pre flight check list.

Does anyone use a drop of threadlock on the lid or is this not a common issue

Sorry about your problem. I have never had it happen to me.

The float bowl cap has a small locking bolt in the top to stop such a thing happening. Ron
