The line up of bikes are the early WD/C's with the Norton foot on the field stand. Same as the one I am currently restoring for a friend. Like Rik's 16H, ex BEF and Found on Belgium/French border. Ron

The first picture was taken in December 1939, and shows what must have been one of the very first batches of WD/C motorcycles. Later bikes (from the same first contract C5107) were slightly different and used a round section front stand, whereas the early ones had a flat strip front stand.
