Dear All

The manual states that oil OE50 needs to be added to the primary chain case but I am unsure how much I am supposed to add or if indeed it is needed and I just keep the chain well lubricated. Any advice would be as always greatly appreciated.

Stuart, under your foot-rest is a level plug. Remove it and poor oil through the large inspection hole until it emerges from the level hole. leave it to stand for couple of minutes until it stops dripping before replacing the plug. This will give sufficient oil for the bottom chain run to dip into. some oil will find its way to the back of the clutch to keep the clutch rollers lubricated. Ron



The chaincase drain plug is on the under side of the inner case.

I always use the level hole to fill it up with the oil can.
