Henk, can you read the census number on the forum photo bike ? A C392 series like Rons ? It looks quite dark and shiny...it couldn't have been a Dark Bronze Green contract, could it ? :grinning:

I can't read it on the photo as it's on the forum. The original photo is quite a bit bigger and could maybe reveal the tank number but I am not 100% sure about that. That photo is on my laptop and my laptop (Lenovo) is on it's way to Germany to get fixed for the third time.

The picture you sent is not a C10 Henk. Some type of pre-war hand change BSA. Still a nice picture though.:+1:

I also have a copy of the forum picture, but too small and grainy to read the number. Maybe you can provide a better copy when you get you laptop back please Henk.

I have several of those mirrors. All stamped WD. They are getting extremely hard to find as the same shape mirrors were fitted to pre-war MG's and they've been hoovered up over the years and chromed. Ron:slightly_frowning_face:
