Correct Lycett saddle Size

Dear All

Could anyone enlighten me on the correct width of the Lycett riders saddle that would have been supplied with a 1943 WM20. The one I have is 12 inches across the back of the metal frame, I presume this is smaller than standard.

Regards

Stuart

Re: Correct Lycett saddle Size

Apart from the lightweights. The saddles on my bikes are all about 15" across with the cover on. Ron

Re: Correct Lycett saddle Size

I have just checked mine The saddle I have is a very old Terrys which I believe to be the incorrect make, but looks nice . Compared to other people's saddles it looks bigger more like a tractor seat but it too measures 15" across which make me happier about it. By the way at some point someone has mounted further back mounting the rear of it onto the mud guard and higher up at 6'3" I don't mind cheers Andrew
