Hi I am going to fit a reproduction contract data plate to the rear mudguard of a 1944 m20 and was wondering if anyone has a picture of an original so I could try and copy the script and layout stamped in giving the contract number etc.

I have an original S5209 plate here I can photo for you

If it’s a 44, these plates were more commonly steel not brass

Thanks for that , Yes it's the same as yours S5209 and so Rob this is the number. That's a bit of a pain about the steel ones, as i got one of the nicely made brass ones from Roy Van Dorp, well i suppose something is better than nothing!
