On the Monty classic petrol taps, where do you get the reducers so they can be used in the M20 tank.

Is BSPP the same thread as Whitworth?

Reason for asking is I have a few Whitworth taps and I have just ordered some BSPP fittings to do some work on breathers for my Triumph.

Just answered my own question......not really (1/4 Whitworth at 20 TPI abd 1/4 BSP at 19 TPI).

Yeah right Pat. BSP parallel and BSP tapered are a different TPI to Whitworth.....Same thread angle I think. Ron
